I had never really thought about it before but, yes, eagles and hawks are definitely solitary creatures, making themselves scarce while they watch for prey. This is a great idea for the theme Yvonne and your picture is superb.
I love, love, love hawks. We have a couple that nest in a tree by our backyard. We even had a baby in my back porch a couple of years ago whe they were teaching him how to fly. They're fascinating birds of prey. Blessings!

Yep, and I think alone is most times just the way he likes it.... soaring up there in the clouds. Beautiful, Yvonne!
Yvonne, a wonderful image. Cheers

Oh yes, a perfect example of being alone, Yvonne. Five stars from me, my dear.
What a great take on the theme, Yvonne! It made me think of that faraway, lonely cry of a hawk somewhere way up high.xx
Alone but so majestic looking. It looks like he or she is quite content sitting there alone.
An eagle is a good simple way of expressing aloneness. Well done!
A beautiful bird in a lovelty setting! Bravo, Yvonne!
